About
I work with teens and young adults who appear high-functioning on the outside but internally feel anxious, overstimulated, or exhausted by expectations. Many of the families I support are navigating social anxiety, intense school stress, perfectionism, emotional regulation challenges, or autism-related experiences, and want their child to feel more confident, understood, and capable.
As a Registered Psychotherapist providing virtual therapy across Ontario, I specialize in supporting:
• High school students overwhelmed by grades and performance pressure
• Teens who avoid social situations or struggle to connect with peers
• Autistic teens navigating friendships, emotional regulation, and identity
• Black teens and families seeking culturally responsive care
• Young adults adjusting to university, independence, and life transitions
Parents often reach out when they notice their teen withdrawing, melting down more frequently, struggling with motivation, or feeling misunderstood. My goal is to help young people build practical skills while also feeling deeply supported.
Before becoming a Psychotherapist, I worked as an ABA therapist supporting children and adolescents on the autism spectrum. That background allows me to bring structure and clarity to therapy while maintaining a neurodiversity-affirming approach. I focus on emotional regulation, social confidence, self-advocacy, and reducing anxiety in a way that feels empowering.
As a Black woman, I understand how culture, identity, and family expectations can shape a teen’s experience of stress and success. I strive to create a space where young people feel safe exploring who they are without judgment.
All sessions are conducted online across Ontario. Virtual therapy can be especially helpful for teens who feel socially anxious or overwhelmed in traditional office settings. Many clients appreciate being able to meet from the comfort of their own space while still building meaningful therapeutic connection.
My work is collaborative and skill-focused, helping teens build tools they can use outside of sessions and into adulthood.
If you’re looking for specialized, compassionate support for your teen or young adult, I welcome you to book a brief consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
